About
Making web feedback visual and effortless
We believe the screenshot-email-spreadsheet loop is broken. Sitemarks replaces it with one click.
The Problem
Feedback workflows are fundamentally broken
Screenshot chaos
Take a screenshot, annotate in another tool, paste into a doc, email it, hope the dev finds the right element.
Lost context
By the time feedback reaches a developer, the viewport, device, and DOM state are gone.
Slow cycles
A single round of design review takes 2–3 days of back-and-forth across 4+ tools.
Our Approach
A better way to give feedback
Feedback lives on the thing itself
Not a screenshot of it. Click directly on the live page, the uploaded image, or the PDF. Your comment is pinned to the element, not lost in an email thread.
Context is automatic
Viewport dimensions, DOM selector, device type, browser version — captured with every pin. Developers get everything they need without asking.
AI closes the loop
From annotation to pull request without human translation. The agent reads your feedback, finds the code, and opens a fix — in minutes.
Our Story
Born from frustration
We started Sitemarks in 2024 because we lived the feedback loop every web team dreads: screenshot it, annotate in another tool, paste into a doc, email it over, and pray the developer figures out which element you meant. We did this dozens of times a week and watched hours evaporate.
As designers and engineers ourselves, the fix felt obvious. What if you could click on the actual website and say “this needs to change”? What if the viewport, the device, and the DOM selector traveled with every comment automatically? What if an AI agent could read the feedback and open a pull request before you finished your coffee?
That insight became Sitemarks: a platform where feedback is visual, contextual, and collaborative. One click to annotate. One click to fix. Review cycles that used to take days now take hours.
Values
What drives us
Craft
We obsess over the details. Every interaction, every pixel, every animation matters. We build tools we are proud to use ourselves.
We rebuilt our annotation engine three times until it worked on every framework — React, Vue, Svelte, Angular, and plain HTML.
Speed
We move fast without cutting corners. Speed is a feature — for our users and for our team. Momentum compounds.
We ship to production every week. Our changelog is the proof.
Transparency
We default to openness in everything we do. Trust is built through honesty, not marketing.
Our roadmap is public. Our status page is real.
Customer-First
Every decision starts with the customer. We talk to users every day and build what they need.
We respond to every support message within 24 hours. No bots.
