Our Story
Born from frustration
We started Sitemarks in 2024 because we were tired of the feedback loop that plagues every web team: take a screenshot, annotate it in another tool, paste it into a document, send it over email, and hope the developer can figure out which element you meant.
As designers and engineers ourselves, we knew there had to be a better way. What if you could just click on the actual website and say “this needs to change”? What if feedback was attached to the thing itself, not a screenshot of it?
That insight became Sitemarks: a platform where feedback is visual, contextual, and collaborative. Sitemarks lets you collect precise visual feedback on websites, images, PDFs, and videos — reducing review cycles from days to hours.
